Vegetable Curry Pakora – Toasted Almond-Fennel Relish
The 2021 SS Limited Selection One with its rich, concentrated flavors of blackberry and black currant pairs excellently with the Vegetable Curry Pakora. The wine’s complexity and spiced notes of clove and lavender complement the curry’s savory spices, while its soft tannins balance the dish’s richness. The subtle vanilla undertones enhance the toasted almond-fennel relish, creating a well-rounded, flavorful pairing with a smooth, lingering finish.
Our Limited Selection Signature Series wines are very special, often unique blends with just one release per year. “One,” the first wine in this series, is a blend of 41% Sangiovese, 22% Cabernet Franc, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot and 6% Merlot, offering lovely aromas of black cherry and blackberry, with notes of coffee, vanilla and allspice framed by soft tannins and a long velvety finish.
